As part of our school wide PBIS program, all staff hand out thumbs up. A thumbs up is given to a student when they are following the three expectations (be safe, respectful, responsible) or social skills including listening, following directions, or accepting feedback. When students earn 50 thumbs up for showing expected behavior, they have the opportunity to put their photo on the thumbs up board. Three rewards are posted and students choose which reward is most desirable to them. When the board is full, students are randomly selected to earn that reward.
We are excited to announce some new 2020 incentives! New rewards posted on the board will include: gum day for your class, student helper in a classroom of your choice, class chill time & other new prizes generated by our adult and student PBIS team.
